Using this special theme, BGC Day for Kids is positioned as a lasting gift and legacy to America’s youth. The primary goal of BGC Day for Kids is to foster stronger relationships between caring adults and kids by educating them on the importance of spending meaningful time together. When young people establish relationships with positive adults, it has a profound impact on their sense of purpose, self-image, and healthy development. Thousands of Boys & Girls Clubs are local community events, public awareness campaign, educational resources and other opportunities to encourage healthy, sustaining relationships.
